November 2025 working party

Many thanks to those who assisted at the working party on 16th November.

David, Jane and Joe laid on their usual heartwarming fare for lunch as well as excellent wines. Accolades are due to Chris, Colin, Gavin and Alasdair for putting posts in the ground at the south eastern corner of our allotment, to Gordon and Gillian who started an effective fire which was able to burn all material on the fire site and every cutting and branch that were brought to the fire on the day. Peter Hodgkinson did a great job pruning trees and Hening Paul attached a box to the hut on plot 59 for use of our new first aid kit. Many people were involved in transporting barrowloads of branches and twigs to the fire site and we thank them and all who assisted on a very effective day.
